I Heart… Spring
It rained today. While that may not seem all that exciting to anyone else, it was for me. It meant that for once it was FINALLY over 0 degrees outside. Okay, my MacBook is telling me it’s only 1 degree, but that’s not freezing, so it’s an improvement!
It’s now 7:30PM; out my window I can see the sun setting on the dykes… and I’m just giddy. It’s finally spring! (Don’t get me wrong, I love winter, but I always look forward to spring.) So in honour of sunshine, rain, and puddles, I felt the need to spread my general excitement and positive energy via some pretty spring pictures I’ve been collecting for the past few weeks.i
AND because I’m a huge nerd and when I get in certain “moods”, I like to make mixes. So I’ve included a few songs that are part of my “Spring into Spring with Sunshine, Bunnies and Chocolate” mix in iTunes.ii

Aw, so pretty! Spring is just lovely. I would be excited about the rain too… I love rain, and puddles too. And not freezing is definitely an improvement… I wish it would become not freezing where I am too. I’m for sure going to have to check out the songs on your mix (love the name by the way).

I think I may have spoken a little too soon with the not freezing since it’s well below -10 today. And we still have snow; the rain didn’t wash it all away. :( Ah well, at least it’s nice to know that spring is trying to poke its way through. :D
