I ♥ Kaya Scodelario

I’m afraid I’ve become quite addicted to Skins. It’s fantastical! (Though I’ve only finished up to the end of series 2, so don’t tell me what happens in series 3.) One of the first characters who intrigued me was Effy played by Kaya Scodelario. While Effy isn’t one of the main characters of the first two series, I always looked forward to seeing segments with her. I think that Kaya Scodelario is extremely talented; for a character who pretty much doesn’t speak for two whole series, she was still able to give Effy depth, emotion, and some special little quirks. I love that she’s able to communicate in such an honest way with the audience, and I think Kaya has a very instinctive approach to acting.
After a little research into Miss Scodelario, I found she’s also signed to Models 1i which intrigued me. And I stumbled upon a stunning photoshoot she’d done. Kaya has a very natural beauty and these photos are quite striking (both in terms of her beauty and in terms of the actual art of photography itself) so I had to share.

I’m quite infatuated with Kaya at the moment. I think she has a very bright career ahead of her in terms of both acting and modeling and I look forward to seeing where she goes post-Skins (or alongside of). And I’m definitely looking forward to series 3 of the show where her character is much more prominent.

(On an entirely unrelated note, I have my French exam tomorrow morning – technically today – so wish me luck! *bites nails*)

  1. Models 1 is very famous modeling agency — they’ve signed people like Kate Moss, Twiggy, Cindy Crawford, etc., so they’re pretty high up there. (»)

I don’t watch Skins and have never heard of her, but she is indeed stunning and these photographs are gorgeous!

I haven’t watched Skins but I keep hearing about it… I might have to look into it more. She is very beautiful, as are the photographs.

It’s really quite an addictive show. It took me a little while to get into it – it’s not like anything on television around here (Canada) – but once I did, I really enjoyed it.

Oooh, yay! I loved series 1 & 2 of Skins! Brilliant stuff. I’m very curious to hear about your favorite characters/relationships/storylines! (Maybe on Livejournal, under a cut? :D) And I’ve got to catch up on series 3..

Ooooh my, I love Skins and I love Kaya even more. She is so beautiful, I can’t get over it sometimes. I’m having a huuuge crush on her at the moment, and just like you I can’t wait to start watching season 3 of Skins!
