I Heart… Easter
I love Easter. It’s probably my favourite holiday. Part of that stems from my love of Spring (my favourite season), part from my love of chocolate-y treats (yum!), and the majority from my love of bunnies. My family wasn’t very religious growing up so for us, Easter was about spending time togetheri, watching the Charlie Brown Easter special, and having candy egg hunts. And most importantly, every Easter I always looked forward to a new stuffed bunny from my parents. Every year my parents would ask me if I’d like something else for Easter, but it always had to be a stuffed bunny. Or a real one. But they never went for that much to my dismay. :P
As an ode to the greatest animal on the face of the planet, a wee little picspam. Be prepared to be blown away by the cute.
And Easter just isn’t Easter without some adorable bunny-shaped treats (Cadbury’s Bunnies, anyone? Adorable and delicious!) or marshmallow peeps! Though I never actually liked marshmallow peeps; I just liked playing with them until they got too gooey and sticky that they started leaving a marshmallowy trail everywhere they went.
Can’t forget Cadbury Creme Eggs commercials. The current day adverts have taken the clucking bunny thing to the point of being obnoxious, but the older commercials still maintain their initial charm.
On that note, I hope everyone has a lovely day following whatever Easter traditions you follow. Hoppy Easter. ;)

- My dad was never around lot (he worked/works a lot) so Easter in particular was one day he’d always be home to spend time with us. (»)

Thanks! And by “stuffed bunny”, I meant like a plush toy. I always forget that most people don’t refer to them as “stuffed” toys any more and then I confuse people. Woops! XD
