Things That Make Me Happy… In April 2009
Ah, April 2009. Such a monumental month for me ‘life’ wise. It was the month I finished my thesis, the month I had my grad recital, the month I finished my undergrad, the month I got my first job in my field, and the month I moved out of Nova Scotia for the first time since I was 6 years old. Of course, April also brought many more light hearted things. So without further adue, viola 10 things that made me happy in April 2009 :)
1. Bones
New favourite show? New favourite show! I can’t believe I missed out for so long. (Though I suppose not getting Fox could be a half-assed excuse.) But oh my gosh, the adorable! David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel have such amazing chemistry. Actually, the entire cast does; they’re all fantastic together. But David and Emily as Booth and Brennan go above and beyond. One of the things that makes watching television ‘couples’ so enjoyable for me is that push and pull of “Are they going to get together or aren’t they?”, and that constant sexual tension. I think that’s something the writers on this show have done really well: keeping Booth and Brennan close but simultaneously at odds. (This show so doesn’t help my massive crush on David Boreanaz. ♥)
