I Heart… Meaghan Waller

I don’t think I need to preface this with a gush about how much I love Canada’s Next Top Model. But for the newcomers and unaware: I freakin’ love Canada’s Next Top Model. There. I said it.

The finale of the show was last Tuesday, and what a finale it was! I’m so pleased that the girl I was rooting for all along came out on top. Yay Meaghan! She reminds me so much of my beloved Gemma Ward (who I’ve been missing terribly!); she has that same doll-like face that I’m such a sucker for in my models. She’s definitely got a lot going for her, not only with her look that’s very “in” in the modeling industry at the moment, but the designers in New Yorkⁱ were totally smitten with her, she has an amazing portfolio of pictures from the show, and damn, the girl can work a runway!

Maybe I’m alone in my celebrating, but I’m just so glad to see someone with an all-around talent win, that I had to commemorate her win with a mini picspam of her glorious self! Let’s hear it for Meaghan, winner of Canada’s Next Top Model cycle 3!

Below are a few images from the final runway show. And because the show was all sorts of shiny and glittery and oozed sex appeal, I just had to share a few other pictures from it as well. The Blondes are so fabulous. I love the entire look and feel of their runway show. Very glam-rock. (The Goldfrapp obsessee inside me is dancing.)

I think Miss Waller has a very bright modeling career ahead of her, and I only wish her the best! I can’t wait to see where so goes and what she does post-Top Model; I’ll definitely be ready and waiting to follow her anywhere her career may take her.

2. Personally, I think this photograph is kind of blah. It’s very washed out and it took every ounce of self-restraint on my part to not re-colour it and up the saturation like woah. Meaghan looks amazing in it though. (»)
