Wow. Here I am. 50 posts. Over the past few months, I’ve had so much fun sharing all manner of creative things with everyone, and getting to know you all through your kind words (which always put a huge smile on my face). It’s been such a wonderful experience reading everyone’s thoughts. Now that my blog is ‘over the hill’, I’d hoped to have something perhaps a little more monumental, or possibly inspirational, to say. Unfortunately, I do not. So I will simply say thank you to each and every one of you for visiting, commenting, lurking,… whichever poison you so choose, because when it comes down to it, I appreciate you all so much. You guys are all fantastic and knowing that there are people out there who are reading my nonsense makes it all the more worth it. ♥ So here’s to much more inspiration and creativity both here and across the blogosphere!

Kate Spade exists only to spite me. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch but I’m honestly beginning to think she goes out of its way to create delicious things that I’ll swoon all over. It’s a no brainer. Kate Spade handbag? I’m all over it. Kate Spade dishes? Set of 20, please! Kate Spade clothing line?

That, my friends, is the sound of me hitting the floor. Maybe I live under a rock but how I failed to be aware of her clothing line is beyond me. I wanted to share some of my favourite pieces and looks from the Fall 2009 collection. It’s so wonderfully delicious. Bold patterning, cheery pops of colour, elegant silhouettes, femine details… It’s calling my name! “Krissy! Krissy!” You heard that, too, right?
(Also, as a general warning, I may have upped the silly in this post. I should not eat Pop Tarts ever again. Especially before bed. So beware and like… all that stuff. Cue haunted house music.)

Love to hate her, hate to love her… Lady GaGa’s definitely not for everyone. As such, she’s constantly the subject of much gossip. And while, yes, more often than not her fashion choices end up on the “questionable” side of the fence, I gotta give the girl mad props for being the wonderfully fabulous person that she is, and sharing her talent with the world. I know Lady GaGa is a fairly controversial figure and I know that not everyone who reads my blog is going to agree with me on this, but that’s okay. (I’ll just shun you all. )
I have major respect for Lady GaGa both as a musician and as a person. And here’s why.

I’m completely and utterly behind the times with this one for which I’m terribly, terribly appalled. Fashion waits for no man! Fortunately, I am woman, and I say, “Better late than never!” Such is my philosophy on dieting, on washing dishes, and now, apparently on blogging.
Anyway. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: I’m probably one of the least fashionable people north of the border. I’m sure on numerous occasions others have wondered whether I actually owned a mirror in my house. Sometimes, I wonder that too. What is this mirror type device you speak of? Beside my point though. Despite my apparent lacking of the ‘fashionista gene’, I still adore all things couture to no end and my life simply would not be complete without excessive designer stalking. The apple of my eye this season: Chanel. Though honestly, when is Chanel not the object of my affections? If this were high school, and Chanel the boy I was crushing on, there would be little doodle hearts exploding all over the place right now. Not a pretty sight.
