I Heart… 90′s Pop
Though I’m slightly embarrassed to admit this, I’m going to brave it for the sake of this post: I was a huge teeny bopper in the 90′s. There. I said it. You guys still love me, right? If it was sugary sweet to the point of making your stomach do back flips, I not only liked it, but I listened to it, and I obsessed over it. Excessively. Ah, those were the days of boy bands, ginormous platform shoes, and girl power.
Last weekend while cleaning out my closet (it’s garage sale season), I stumbled upon all my old casettes and CDs from the 90′s/early 2000′s. In my nostalgia, I popped a couple of those CDs into my laptop to give’em a listen. Let’s just say things got groovy, and before I knew it, I was dancing and singing along to my beloved Spice Girls and S Club 7 as if I were still a pre-teen girl. Good times were had.
