Break Out The Champagne!

Just FYI, I’m not dead. Things have just been really hectic for me both in my online and offline life lately. I’ve been terribly busy with relatives visiting and a family road-trip. On top of that, I had to let go old my old domain for private reasons, so I’ve been frantically moving all of my websites.

On a positive note, I’d like to introduce my brand spankin’ new blog. I’ve been working away at it all day yesterday and today, and I’m very excited about everything. A few odds and ends are still under construction, and I have a few changes up my sleeve regarding the actual blog itself, but before I reveal them, I’d like to take a quick moment to welcome you all officially to Shimmer Like Gold! :) I’d appreciate it if you could update your links and bookmarks to shimmerlikegold.org, and if you were previously subscribed to my feed, update to the new one by clicking here.

Frequent visitors will also have noticed the decline in blog posts over the last few weeks. That will definitely be taking a complete 180 degree turn ASAP. Until then, I’m afraid I’ll have to leave you all on the edge of your seats. See you all very soon!

Oh my goodness! Brand new spankin’ blog! It’s so gorgeous! I really, really love it including the new domain but I’ll definitely miss girldisappearing.org though. And I’m pretty much jealous because you managed to put up such a breathtaking layout here. I can’t seem to work on something like that so I’ve been using pre-made layouts lately.

I know I haven’t commented in a long time and same goes here when it comes to the updating. I guess I wasn’t able to make time for blogging the past couple of months because of my majors and real-life problems taking over my life right now but I’ll definitely go back to updating hopefully one of these days. Good luck with everything, Krissy-ness! Especially with school. :)

Aww, thank you so much, Michi-wan! :D I too will miss my old domain, but I’m so excited about this one at the same time. :D
I feel your pain about the layouts though. I was so stuck in a rut with my old one. I couldn’t make anything decent for months. I was very lucky I got this one outta me in time for the new blog. :D

Aww, I know you’re really busy my dear so don’t you worry about anything! But I do hope that when you have time, you’ll blog again. :D
