I Heart… Chanel Couture (Fall 2009)
I’m completely and utterly behind the times with this one for which I’m terribly, terribly appalled. Fashion waits for no man! Fortunately, I am woman, and I say, “Better late than never!” Such is my philosophy on dieting, on washing dishes, and now, apparently on blogging.
Anyway. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: I’m probably one of the least fashionable people north of the border. I’m sure on numerous occasions others have wondered whether I actually owned a mirror in my house. Sometimes, I wonder that too. What is this mirror type device you speak of? Beside my point though. Despite my apparent lacking of the ‘fashionista gene’, I still adore all things couture to no end and my life simply would not be complete without excessive designer stalking. The apple of my eye this season: Chanel. Though honestly, when is Chanel not the object of my affections? If this were high school, and Chanel the boy I was crushing on, there would be little doodle hearts exploding all over the place right now. Not a pretty sight.
Silliness aside, here’s a quick glance at some of the drool-worthy ensembles from the fall line. Sit back and prepare to be awestruck.
