“Buffy: Angel’s a vampire, I thought you knew.
Cordelia: Oh. He’s a vampire! Of course! But the cuddly kind, like a Care Bear with fangs.”
~ Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 2, Episode 6

PS. This entry is totally random. Just go with it. :P

Eating… Blueberry muffins. Yummy! My mom – no lies – makes the greatest blueberry muffins on the planet. They’re better than any dessert imaginable.
Watching… Pushing Daisies. I finally watched the final episode the other day. I kept putting it off because I didn’t want it to end. Now, it’s really over. :( RIP Pushing Daisies. You were whimsical, and fantastical, and charming, and all sorts of awesome while you lasted.
Tumbling… Tumblring? I’m not sure what the right word is. Vocabulary aside, I’m rather addicted to Tumblr. It’s a great way to visually bookmark inspirational images. (I’m shimmerlikegold.tumblr.com.) I also found a spiffy WordPress plugin that displays some of my recently saved images in my sidebar. Check it out! *points to the right*
Sipping… Tazo “Calm” tea. When I went to Arizona in May, our room was stocked with it each day and I never tried it until now. It’s supposed to help with sleep, so I’m willing to try it. It has a minty yet bitter taste which I dislike and like at the same time. It’s bizarre.
Coveting… this superly amazingly fantastical offset striped rug from Ikea. It’s so wonderfully graphic and versatile. Anyone care to lend me 179$?
Studying… University has been keeping me very busy. No exaggerations, I have 5 times more work with these three design classes now than I had last year with eight classes and my thesis combined! Fortunately, it’s fun school work and I love it. :)
Snuggling… up warm and tight under my duvet. I love that I can finally dust off my warm woolly blankets for autumn again.
Listening… to Air’s new album Love 2. Not sure how I feel about it yet; it’ll have to grow on me, I think.
Missing… Skins. I need my JJ, Effy, Naomi, Cook, etc. fix! I miss them!
Preparing… Whenever I have a few spare minutes of time, I’ve been working diligently at getting blog posts ready to be scheduled for the coming weeks. With mid-semester presentations looming over me, I know I’m not going to have a lot of time to be flittering around the blogosphere, so I wanted to have a few entries prepared just in case I disappear under a mound of school work!

When I was younger, I always wanted to live in a tree house. A place all my own nestled high above the trees with rope bridges connecting haphazardly placed rooms, look out towers, curling staircases, hammocks, ropes and pulleys… all the bells and whistles. That was my dream. I remember going to Disney World in Florida for the first time when I was in the fourth grade and seeing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Flying Dumbo ride aside (:P), that was the highlight of my trip there. It was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen. My mom insists that I made my family go through the treehouse twice and tried to guilt trip them into letting me go through a third time. I was such a well-behaved kid, eh? (For those who’ve never been to Disney World, there’s a few more pictures of the treehouse on this website.) I was just so enthralled with it.

Imagine my delight to wake up this morning and find a message from Fifi at Previously Owned that she’d passed a lovely blog award onto me. On a day that I’ve been feeling quite under the weather, she definitely has helped turn things around and put a smile on my face and a bounce in my step. Thank you so much! ♥
In the spirit of the Beautiful & Gorgeous Blogger Award, I have to pass along the award to 7 others whose blogs I love, and share 7 things people might find interesting. If you find excessive pancake eating, book gushing, and childhood stories about Halloween even remotely entertaining, this is the blog entry for you, my friend! ;D If none of that sounds even mildly amusing, at least read on for some much more awesome blogs that I think you should visit and love as much as I do.

Unfortunately, this post is coming a wee bit (okay, a lot) later than originally intended. Bad Krissy, bad! I would send myself to my room without dinner, but I don’t really think that would accomplish anything. (Also, I have a big box of animals crackers hidden under my bed, so the effort would be a smidge redundant, though quite delicious. :P Animal crackers in my soup, monkeys and lions loop-de-loop…)
Back on topic, though. I come bearing more prettiness from ‘Fashion Month’ – because really, after a week in NYC, a week in London, a week in Paris, and a week in Milan, it should be called Fashion Month, not Fashion Week. Clearly these designers, while incredibly, incredibly brilliant do not understand a timeless staple of the human race known as the calendar (oooo! aaaah!) – this time in the form of… Pringle of Scotland!
