Just A Minute… In December 2009

Making a list, checking it twice… That list being the list of drawings I still have to prepare for my final presentations at university. Only one week left, and it’s going to be craaaaazy!

Mailing… Christmas cards and Secret Santa gifts! ‘Tis the season.

Gushing… (still) about the Lady GaGa concert. I’m just so in love with her. ♥

Marathoning… The Tudors. I discovered all three seasons on our television (I didn’t even know we had OnDemand!), so I’ve been watching it while working on drawings for university.

Decorating… the house for the holidays. I love putting up decorations!

Waiting… for December 19th to finally arrive. I’ve been so so busy with school stuff since September, and I can’t wait for the last day of the semester. It’ll be such a relief to wake up Sunday morning and not have a thing to worry about.

Recording… I’m working on recording myself playing some of my Nana’s favourite Christmas carols on the piano. It’s going to be part of my Christmas present to her. I hope she likes it.

Celebrating… my birthday! It just so happens that today I turn 22. Think of me at 12:04PM (EST). ;)

Sipping… White hot chocolate with candy canes. ♥ So delicious! It’s one of my favourite ‘seasonal’ treats.

Reading… Architectural Digest. Somehow my Dad got a free subscriptioni and he gave the first magazine that arrived to me. Yay! :)

Happy birthday Krissy! Hope you have a fantastic day :)

Oh I know Architectural Digest, I have like 20 of them from 2003, lol. The photos are amazing. Enjoy :D

Thanks, Julia! :D

I’m seriously in awe of so much of the stuff in AD. Some of the buildings and such are just like… WOW! I can’t even begin to imagine making something like that.

Oh, I never told you because my keyboard was broken, but my friend went to see the same concert. Small world. :P

Happy birthday! :D I hope your day is fantastic!

Oo, really? That’s awesome! It’s funny, actually, I remember thinking, “I wonder if Clem or someone she knows is going to the concert?”. Maybe that’s weird, but you’re like the only person I know of who lives in Toronto. XD

Anythewiggle, thanks for the birthday wishes!

I hope that you have a really wonderful birthday! Hoorah! Drink a flirtini! :) Or a peppermintini..mmm..

I got Architectural Digest as a replacement to my Domino subscription when that magazine went under. Ugh, I wasn’t impressed. Some of it is lovely, but it’s not my style like Domino. I miss it so very much. Hmph.

I love that you’re recording yourself playing your Nana’s favorite Christmas carols, awww. I love that idea! I call my grandma Nana, too. :) It’s cool to see when others do the same!

Hope you have a great break after semester is over! And a very, Merry Christmas!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Morgan! (You’re making me thirsty! :P)

Yeah, Architectural Digest definitely doesn’t have the same appeal as Domino. (May it rest in peace. *tear tear*) Speaking of which, have you ever given LivingEtc a try? It’s a UK based publication, but it’s become my Domino replacement. Nothing will ever be quite the same as Domino, but I’ve found it fills the void. ;)

You know, you’re the only other person I know of (besides the characters of The O.C., lol) who calls their grandma Nana.

Happy Birthday, you Sagittarius girl! I hope its a great one despite the school work. The 19th will be here before you know it, December seems like the fastest month of the year.

Thanks, Angie! :D I had a pretty good birthday despite the school work. At least I didn’t have an exam, right? :P It could have been worse so I’m not complaining.

I swear, yesterday was October. I don’t know where November or the first half this month went!
