I couldn’t help but comment on this even if I’m supposed to comment on your latest post! Hehe. Just so happened I recognized the picture you used as the one I posted in my Tumblr ages ago (which you also “liked”). LOL Yay for using that picture! :D

I feel jealous of you right now for being able to find the time to read a lot of books. I’m swamped at the moment with exams and schoolwork and I’m not yet even halfway done with Lolita and the only book I’ve finished reading for the year was The Wizard of Oz!

And I’m on the same boat with exercising. I really need to do it. I’ve tried jogging last Wednesday and I want to continue doing it every week. I also can’t wait for the mixtape so I can add more to my Krissy’s Recommendations folder.

Lastly, I wish you good luck with school, sidekick! You’ll do great! :D

I’m not super familiar with his stuff – I’ve only read The Alchemist and Veronika Decides to Die – so I might check out the last one you mentioned. The two I read were so vastly different, I almost wouldn’t believe they were written by the same author. So I’m not really sure how I feel about him as an author just yet since I can’t quite pin down his ‘style’ yet.

But I ADORE Veronika Decides to Die. I also generally really love those kinds of books though – saddish and kind of depressing. I’m not sure why, but I just find them quite fascinating. (I thought they did a really great job on the Veronika film too. I really liked it.)

I read The Diary of a Magus, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept and Brida which was the only one worth reading in my opinion. I’ve watched Veronika Decides to Die on film and thought it was quite sad for most of the time. Maybe I’m just getting too used to chick lit.

Can I ask you what plugin do you use to enable replies to comments?

It is! I quite liked it. It’s not my favourite book in the world, per se, but I think it’s one of those books that are worth reading and that everyone should read. Which other books by Paulo Coelho have you read? Veronika Decides to Die is one of my all-time favourite books, not just by him, but of all the books I’ve ever read. :D
