To really answer that question, I had to go to the root of my love of interior design: designer Sarah Richardson. Without even a second thought, she is my number 1 inspiration. In a way, she’s my design idol and unknowingly, she was one of my main inspirations for pursuing design as a career for myself.

4th February 2010 in Art

I stumbled upon A Collection A Day, 2010 around the beginning of this year when the web was flooded when many-a new yearly projects. And while most were gearing up for their participation in Project 365 or Grace in Small Things among many other challenges, illustrator Lisa Congdon planned to undergo a slightly different task in 2010. She created a blog, A Collection A Day, in which she plans to post a photograph of one of her numerous collections each day for the entire year!i About this undertaking, she explains, “I am embarking on this project because I love my collections, and I want to document [...]  and share them with whoever might be interested in looking at them.” And interested, I am!
