I ♥ Anna Inghardt… Part 2

I’m like a moth to flame when it comes to Anna Inghardt‘s photography. Her photos seem to capture a mystical dream world floating through a sea of white. They’re like being caught on a crisp morning just as the fog starts to fade and you begin to see the little details of the world poking through and waiting to be found. Every time I see she’s added a new photograph to her stream on Flickr, I get a little twinge of delight in my heart. She’s one of the very few photographers whose work I would know in an instant and whose work time and time again blows my mind.

Brownie points to the observant bunch of you who recall that I already gushed ad nauseum about Anna’s work before, but I simply can’t help myself. But I just can’t get enough of her photographs. My various inspirations tends to move swiftly in and out of my life. No sooner have I found one, than something newer and shinier plops itself onto my lap. Anna Inghardt’s work, on the other hand, it’s constant. Her photographs are so positively divine that I’m finding myself having the hardest time trying to explain just exactly what it is that draws me to them. My cop-out answer is that her work is simply perfection and I want to live in her world.

P.S. She’s also started making stop motion films. She’s only posted two so far, but they’re super cute. Especially this one.

All photos found via Flickr. You can see more of her work in her stream.

I like how calm her photos seem, and that second photo of the cat made my heart melt. She seems like an amazing photographer.

Isn’t her cat the most adorable thing ever? She posts lots of pictures of him/her and I “Awwww!” out loud every time.

Somehow, she seems to get that dreamy sort of light that I swear only creeps in the windows really early in the morning. It’s a blur, not the light itself. Just gorgeous though — I see why you look forward to every new photo she posts.

It’s like her entire world, day and night, is just that dreamy sort of light that only creeps in the windows really early in the morning. Would it be totally unrealistic of me to wish I had that kind of light 24/7?

I think her work is positively beautiful. Her work looks so whimsical and beautifully done, but it’s so effortlessly done.

Gorgeous work! I wonder how much of it it’s natural lightning and how much is digitally manipulated.

She’s absolutely amazing. I like the white theme to all the photos — simple in style, but so full of passion and feeling. I’m going to check out her stop motion.
