Procrastination interlude! So much for staying away from the blog so I could focus on school work. But midterm projects just aren’t done right without serious procrastination and breaking of your own rules.

With one of my favourite seasons in full tow now – the leaves have changed colours, knitted scarves are out in full force, and generally blustery days are a-plenty – I thought I’d do a mini-ode to autumn in musical form. Before discovering the wonders of the blogosphere, I used to be fairly active in livejournal communities. I participated in a lot of journaling and art journaling communities. I even kept ones of my own for quite a few years and posted them from time to time. I’ve since given up on art journaling (though I do kind of wish I hadn’t) and I’m not nearly as active in those art communities any more, but I still follow one of two of my favourite and most inspirational ones. The following collection of images are some pages I’ve saved over the years, and that I keep coming back to for a little jolt of creativity whenever I’m feeling worn thin.
