13 February 2012 in Editorials, Girl Crush

Following in my recent train of girl crush posts around these parts, how about a little Kirsten Dunst today? Because she looks positively lovely in this editorial for Vogue Italia’s February issue. (I can’t help it there’s a plethora pretty pictures of people I love, okay?) And Kirsten is one of my favourite people. There’s just something about her – she’s so effortless and charming in every way. And she also stars in some of my favourite movies of all time, too – like Elizabethtown, which yes, I will admit does look kind of cheesy, but it’s really, really not. It’s so spontaneous, and quirky, and inspiring! Kind of like she is! If you need a sweet little film to cozy up some evening, give it a go. Or her most recent, Melancholia, is mind-blowing. Again, kind of like she is. My girl crush runs deeeep. 1995 Jumanji deep. True story.

P.S. Happy Galentine’s Day! ;) ♥

Loving the pictures, she looks so charming :) I hope she gets to do more awesome movies like Melancholia, she proved that given the right project, she can be a very good actress :D
The first time you saw her was in Jumanji? I don’t know why I assumed it was in Interview With The Vampire. Probably because most people did XD
Happy Galentine’s Day to you too! ♥

You know, I haven’t even seen Interview with the Vampire… to Letterboxd!! ;)
So true – she kind of has the curse of the superhero movies, ie: people constantly only see her as the gal from Spider-Man as if she’s incapable of anything else.

She’s beautiful and glamorous with her peculiar teeth, that’s one of the things why I like her.
I loved Elizabethtown!

By the way, wonderful design as always :)

Haha, Kiki D – I love that! Jumanji was one of my favourites growing up. It comes on tv probably once a year, and I always watch it.

Such a beautiful set of photographs! She really is very cool. I was watching Marie Antoinette again the other night (she looked so great and omg the macarons made me very hungry). :D

I adore Kirsten Dunst — she’s stunning and talented, and people have been saying for years that I look a bit like her. (The worst was when she had her hair red for Spiderman.) And these photos of her are gorgeous. I really love the outdoor setting and the naturalness of them.

This photoshoot is so gorgeous, and Kirsten looks stunning as usual. Lol, I love that your girl crush started with Jumanji. Elizabethtown will always be one of my favourites as well. I think it came out at the height of my Orlando Bloom crush so that could also be a factor but whatever, I love rewatching that film.

Orlando Bloom is the reason I saw Elizabethtown the first time too! My best friend was OBSESSED with him. (They were married. :P) So naturally, we had to see everything he was in. Which, in retrospect, I’m very glad for now since Elizabethtown is one of my FAVOURITE movies. Thank you for being a dream boat, Orli. :P

she is particularly photogenic, and adaptive in photos in a way she’s not on screen. In the Bvlgari ads I don’t recognize her at first..
