Hi guys,

It’s been awhile. A long, loooong while. Much longer than I’d originally intended to be “away”.

I miss blogging, and I miss blogging here. But I’m still not happy with what “here” is. I thought I’d figure that out while I was taking some time away, but honestly, I haven’t given it a whole lot of thought. All I know is that I want to start blogging again. Sometime soon. Not right this instant, but soon. I’m really going to sit back and figure this whole thing out.

I’d like to apologise to you all, my lovely readers, for dragging you through my spaztastic identity crisis. I’m sorry, and if you’re still with me after this hoopla, I hope you’ll forgive me one last time for saying “I’ll be back soon”.

Yeah girl.
I had the same prob… But after a while, I decided that ‘blogging’ just isn’t my jam anymore. Well, not blogging in the same way I have been anyway. I felt like I only wanted a blog because 99% of other creatives I know have blogs, and that I ‘should’ too. But then I was like, whoa, hold up, I don’t actually want one anymore.

For some really, really strange reason I felt it hard to blog with WordPress. Not physically ‘hard’, but something in my head just didn’t want to work with it. haha. There was too much going on. Too many options.

After a while I decided that I’d make my biz Facebook page my main platform to post link goodies etc, and then post my travel photos + little random adventures & things on my new travel blog, (running on Squarespace) and my Tumblr. Its so strange, but just using those 3 platforms instead of WP makes it so much easier for me. And now I like ‘blogging’ again…

Maybs just think about what you do / don’t dig about blogging these days and see where it takes you?

I’ve been away from blogging for about a year and a half I think and I am finally coming back which is so exciting for me because I think I’ve finally found out who I am again which I think is really important for bloggers especially since our blogs have to reflect who we are. Holy bananas, YES! I remember the height of my LJ days and there’d be pages and pages of entries a day. Now, lucky if it’s a page a week. Miss that. So many good memories. :)
