To my fellow Canucks, I hope you’re all enjoying this wonderful July 1st, Canada’s 143rd birthday! It’s absolutely beautiful out today here on the east coast so I’ve been trying my best to soak it all up. While I technically don’t get today off (since I go to an American university), I am an online student so I basically make my own schedule anyway. And even though I have mountains of projects piling up, I really don’t care. It’s Canada Day, and I’m going to celebrate! Take that, homework! In any case, I’ll be heading down to the waterfront shortly so I’ll leave you all with a handful of red & white pictures in honour of this amazing country.

I hope the Easter Bunny found everyone alright this morning, and that you’re all stuffing yourselves full of yummy Easter chocolate. ;) It’s not even 10am yet, and I’ve already eaten my way through a package of Cadbury bunnies. Delicious! This is why I love Easter: for the chocolate, of course, but mostly for the bunnies. Easter is when all the bunny paraphernalia comes out in full force, and as a bunny lover, this makes me super, duper giddy. Easter is like second Christmas for me in terms of excitability and festive spirit. To prove my point, I am currently decked out in my bunny slippers, bunny pajamas, bunny charm necklace and fuzzy bunny ears. Festive? Check. Looking like a total dork? Likely. Do I care? Not really! So while my Easter attire may border on the over-the-top tacky front (or so says my mother), here’s a few little bundles of fluff who don’t even have to try to bring the adorable to warm your heart. Warning: cute overload ensues!
