Following in my recent train of girl crush posts around these parts, how about a little Kirsten Dunst today? Because she looks positively lovely in this editorial for Vogue Italia’s February issue. (I can’t help it there’s a plethora pretty pictures of people I love, okay?) And Kirsten is one of my favourite people. There’s just something about her – she’s so effortless and charming in every way. And she also stars in some of my favourite movies of all time, too – like Elizabethtown, which yes, I will admit does look kind of cheesy, but it’s really, really not. It’s so spontaneous, and quirky, and inspiring! Kind of like she is! If you need a sweet little film to cozy up some evening, give it a go. Or her most recent, Melancholia, is mind-blowing. Again, kind of like she is. My girl crush runs deeeep. 1995 Jumanji deep. True story.

P.S. Happy Galentine’s Day! ;) ♥

Today I’m obsessed with this floral painting infused editorial for 10 Magazine. Because it’s really flippin’ rad. And flowers are about 50 times cooler when 50 times their natural size. In my books, when in doubt, always go over-sized with florals. These beauties were painted directly over top of a set of photographs for a spiffin’ multi-mixed media look – photography, painting and fashion. Works for me!

Oh, you know, just some end of the week sparkle for no other reason than I like sparkley things. And I’m shameless in my constant search for all that glitters. Like that’s any surprise…

More of the non-sparkley-but-still-equally-as-pretty here.

Can we talk about how flippin’ adorable these photos are? SUPER ADORABLE. So adorable, in fact, part me wants to leap through my computer screen and live in them. That can happen, right?
In case you missed it, Free People is compiling a book titled “Through the Decades” which features a series of photoshoots inspired by, you guessed it, each decade. This set is a sneak peek from their 50′s chapter. A peek at the 20′s chapter was also released in case you’re interested in that as well. It’s lovely too. But my heart clearly lies with the 50′s. I want to eat it up. Especially the outfit in the last picture. Yum.

Can you excuse me for today while I share something a little bit ridiculous and somewhat “off-topic”? I’m having one of those moments where I find everything and the kitchen sink positively hilarious, and so things I would normally find a regular amount of funny, I find to be absolutely hysterical today. Enter Pokemon&Fashion: a tumblr blog where the author’s “two worlds collide”. Those worlds being – you guessed it – Pokemon (those adorable [sometimes] little video game critters with magical abilities and names that sound a bit like gibberish) and fashion (editorials and advertising campaign images). The blog’s creator takes fashion editorials and plops in, with the wonders of Photoshop, a little Pokemon that fits in with the scenery, mood or look of the image. And it’s really, really funny. Loud of loud funny. Trust me. It’s had me chuckling all morning. Comedy gold, my friends.
