How rad is this set of vintage Paul Rand book covers? Bright colours, bold shapes, handwritten-esque type, collage feel… I’m diggin’ them in every way. When the cover’s this good, forget judging the book…The covers could each easily stand on their own as a piece of art. Why, oh why, don’t they make book covers like this any more? Wishful thinking, I suppose. But it’s probably for the best or I’d have spent every last penny I own on more books than I could ever possibly read. (Or wait, I may have already done that… just a little bit.)

Like I needed another excuse to further indulge my overwhelming wanderlust, but these photo+type mash-ups of cities and countries across Europe were just too good. I love the muted colours in the photographs and the classic type treatments – very old world romantic, and perfect for these historic European locales.
… and now I’m off daydreaming of escaping down winding side streets, and exploring little shops and cafes, and sitting on a park bench to people watch. Impromptu Europe trip anyone? I say we hit up each of these lovely cities/countries below. They’re taunting me to come visit! Amsterdam and Prague, especially!

Pretty insane graphic design+photography+general artistic amazingness right here, folks. Not sure what else to say other than these posters for the movie Martha Marcy May Marlene are just plain awesome-tastic. Much like the movie itself; I saw it a couple months ago and it’s fantastic. I highly recommend it to any other film buffs.

Movie gush aside and back to my original train of thought… I really love these posters (and the title card) for the movie. Beautiful photography, crisp type, a very clean and minimal overall look, and the perfect hint of mystery and intrigue to suit the movie. Yuppers, this is the crème de la crème, alright.

Honk if you love paper! (Honk honk.) I do. Bre & Emma do. Enter, Our Paper Shop: a lovely little shop the duo created to celebrate that love. Together they’ve created a delightful collection of stationery including cards, postcards, calendars, and even custom stamps. (Fun!) This is the stuff love affairs are made of, guys. They love paper, I love paper, we all love paper! It’s like a circle of love. (Aww. ♥)

Cute, right? I love their funky spin on minimalism. Their collection is fresh, beautifully edited, and full of cheer. And I love it lots and lots.
P.S. Speaking of love, they just launched their new “love” line this morning… it’s super cute!
