Birman cats.
Listening to music I haven’t listened to in a long, long time and falling in love with it all over again.
Bright Star. ♥ Again. (Why yes, I am obsessed!)
Cliched sailor-style tattoos.
The colour magenta.
Christmas lights that are still on in the middle of January.
Brilliant ideas in the middle of the night.
Homemade blueberry muffins fresh from the oven when the tops are still crunchy.
Snow! (Snow never gets old in my books, and is always happiness inducing.)
Receiving a response to a message I sent Coco Rocha. “Oh you’re sweet. I’ll tweet about it after 7pm! Xoxo” Saving that forever!
Eating so many Sweet Tarts your tongue becomes tingly for hours.
Discovering my Dad also likes Natalie Portman.

Gemma Ward
Because she will always be my favourite model. ♥ I wish her all the best pursuing her dreams. (Send her love!) And she was wonderful in The Black Balloon. I’m bummed it STILL isn’t released on DVD in North America.

“I like…boys on swings, and girls on skateboards. I like babies in high chairs. I like pharmaceutical medicine wrappers. I like people in hats with big eyebrows – I like people in hats with big eyebrows and big moustaches. I like water caught in spiders’ webs. I like wearing all my clothes at once. I like people who don’t smile. Ever. And I like people who smile. I like hair that goes on and on. [...] In some ways I love…everything. It’s less…less of a thing than ‘like’…less distinct. Less…particular. I like things that I like but I love everything. There’s more choice than ‘like’. Because even the worst things have things to love in them. I love things so much I feel like I could float away.”

I think I have a bit of a photographer crush on Mr. Dayan. I stumbled upon his portfolio in a bout of procrastinatory random web surfing (my favourite kind) and now my school work is currently being pushed back closer and closer toward the due date without being touched (eep!). But when teased with such captivating pictures, I couldn’t help but say, “See ya later, homework!” and waste away my time clicking through his portfolio.
Warning: A few of the images below contain (veeerrry partial) nudity and may not be safe for work. :)

Hello, autumn! Boy, am I glad to see you! After the scorching summer heat and nasty black flies, you’re a sight for sore eyes. So farewell until next year, summer, because I’m quite content with the cooler weather.
I come from a family where autumn is generally loathed simply because it means winter is on its way. And I know on the whole, autumn isn’t really a favourite amongst the general population. But personally, autumn is my favourite season. It’s a welcome relief from the hot sun. It brings crisp mornings with the first hint of frost of the grass. Adding a snuggly quilt to your bed. Breaking out chunky knitted sweaters from the back of your closet. ♥
So as an ode to my favourite season, proof that not everything is bad about it. As far as colour is concerned, autumn is a feast for the eyes. Plus, last week, Poppytalk hosted Autumn Colour Week and I didn’t have a chance to participate until now. Instead of doing a daily digest of autumn colours, this is just one big collection of browns, yellows, reds, oranges, and greens.
